5. Tuivasa-Scheck
4. Tedesco
3. Boyd
2. Dugan
1. Inglis

No chance Inglis is currently the best fb in the NRL. Can’t tackle to save his life and when his side is losing is rarely sighted. Classic frontrunner.
Tedesco, Boyd and Dugan have far better all-round talent than Inglis IMO. Lachlan Coote would be up there and Slater if fit would be in there as well. Can’t see how he chose Inglis as the best.

May aswell throw Moylan on the list.

Moylan played well today after a long lay-off. Shame for NSW that all these classy players ( Teddy, Dugan, Moylan and Coote) are fullbacks, would be nice if a few of them were wingers or halves.

As for the fullbacks…Joey has gone the safe option but he is outdated. Big GI is not playing well at the back this year but in big games he always rises.

Its out of Boyd, Coote and Teddy as this years best custodian.

To be blunt, Joey has always over-praised GI since that famous embarrassing incident in Origin camp. He’s been well below his best in recent times (quite possibly due to niggling injuries).

Greg Inglis is overrated. I’ve watched a lot of South Sydney this year and he refuses to get involved unless his team’s on the front foot. He’s the bloody captain.

With his team having a rough time of it, his off-the-ball performances have been awful. He’s not supporting any of his forwards, only piggy-backing off other blokes’ hard work. Those aren’t the qualities of an immortal, let alone your captain…Your captain and arguably your best player is the guy you look to when your team needs a lift.

Moylan on the other hand - first game back from injury, tried to involve himself as much as possible, ran hard at guys a lot bigger than him - that’s what you want in a captain.

Boyd is a flog. Going through depression doesn’t give you an excuse to be a **** bloke.
Dugan is a great defensive fullback who can get your set started on the front foot. Unfortunately, he is possibly the weakest when it comes to setting up others. One 2015 try assist backs this up.
RTS is having a tough time at the Warriors. He’ll come good.
Tedesco is our superstar. I’m biased in his favour, love the guy.

People were blinded by Inglis going through a good run of form. They’d say things like “Who needs Billy Slater? We have Greg Inglis!”…yeah, nah, Billy Slater is a legend. Best work rate of anybody I’ve seen.
