Just saw it mentioned on NRL.com’s late mail video too. No word on the severity of it thus far.

Got no idea what the injury is ! I am still in disbelief!
Boy o Boy,that is a massive dent in our go forward and our defensive structure will be rattled!
That has ruined my day!

Also on NRL Tactics Moltzen said we are really going to miss Galloway and Ellis up front this week.

it will give another player an opportunity to push for a permanent spot in top 17.

It may explain why Jason Schirnack was left out of the BRET side though. I assumed injury but if this was known about Ellis early on in the week it may be a safe assumption that Jason will come in

Well this thread just gave me the confirmation of Ellis being out that I needed. I needed a source other than MMM and hopefully from someone’s involved mouth. Moltzen has more or less confirmed it for me.
On the assumption that Cayless is out and that J. Schirnack is not injured - Jason is in for sure.

Smeg I think we are screwed up front. Take out Galloway and Ellis, our 2 best forwards IMO and that is 80% of our size and aggression gone.
I remember a few games over the last couple of years when we have played with a depleted pack. Not Pretty.
