Please do not interpret this as mean spirited or mocking an injury.

However the best thing we showed in attitude shift tonight was running everything at a wounded Thurston and belting him over with each runner.

Real foot on the throat attitude and if we keep going with that and grow on it there are good days ahead

          Agreed, mate.

How many times have we read headlines where Benji was coming back from injury and the opposition forwards were gonna target him by running over him?

Good to see we can hand it out, too.

Thats not mean spirited. If someone is on the field then they are fit (other than cheap gallen type tactics of sticking your fingers into someones stitches)
Even in '05 we didn;t look like we had a killer instinct. We weren;t trying to beat teams down so much as trying to have fun and score as many points as possible.
The attitude you’re talking about is essential for big game teams.

              yes and no smeg.

yes it was smart to go after thurston.i was hoping we would play at him play after play.

but after that i didn’t see much smart football out there.

Yeah, we relaxed and made it hard for ourselves a bit when he went off

Sheens commented after the game he was disappointed with the drop in intensity in the second half. The Tigers had to do a lot of tackling in the end, which they did well and they did well to grind out a win tonight.

Plenty of room for improvement but promising signs all right.

Were playing nowhere near what were capable of, yet in my opinion are still playing better than any other side in the comp. To me that`s very encouraging.

We did the right thing targeting Thurston.

We have now stuffed Manly and North QLD by taking out Stewart and Thurston for the season hehehe

Exactly….anyone takes Benji out and we are stuffed as well.

It has nothing to do with Karma. They did nothing wrong, in my point of view.
