the have a fairly similiar team to last year
i think we will beat them by 50 -
Nope, they will be fired up and wanting to improve. Having said that we will win by 20.
-
On their day they are still a top team. The fact they haven’t started the season well does worry me because they’re a lot better than what we’ve seen. Can we smash them? perhaps. Is it likely? Not at all. They needed to be treated with respect because if they do happen to beat us, i won’t say i’m surprised because they’re good enough to do so.
-
Last year they were coming equal first and we still smashed them with Eastwood, El Masri etc still in the team.
-
There are no easy games, a lot has changed since round 26 last year. Should go in with a good attitude but not cocky, they can beat us.
-
Anything but a win will be un-acceptable against the Dogs… All teams have the ability to frustrate on their day and that’s why you SHOULD never expect to give a side a hiding, that said however we should win by a comfortable margin. Their side is horrible, especially in the forwards. They missed 55 tackles on the weekend! 55 TACKLES!!! Against a side like the Tigers… this should equate to ALOT of points…

If we turn up expecting an easy night then we could be in trouble.

I will peer into the crystal ball on wednesday……3 out of 3 so far
Read the posts for Parra, Canberra and Cowboys!
Accuracy 100%…Not bad for a $5.99 investment. -
not if Fitzhenry is at halfback we wont…

I think weve been pretty shaky for a few weeks tbh. Not to deminish the effort and the results, but they were far from convincing (The eels was our last strong win imo). Canberra capitulated and our fitness got us over the line, and last week was a grind for us, without moltz of coarse. We’ll need to figure out how to score with whoever the new half is pretty quickly, and with the short turnaround and serious travel shedule - im not as confident about our form as the past couple of results suggest. Having said that - great couple of wins on the road. Just hope we can kick on.

I just think we’ve got to role the dice with our attack and start giving it out to Marshall early in the tackle count and also close to their line on the last. If we do this, I seriously think 50 points is on the cards.
Last week against NQ, because our defence was so good I think Benji thought “play it safe”, but I’d instruct him otherwise. If we had of given better service to Benji and the backs last Saturday, we would’ve piled on 40 no doubt.
And when Benji did get good ball, he was instrumental in 3 of our 4 tries. Does that say something about how dangerous he can be?
If we do this, we will smash them

The way we’re going, one team is going to get belted 50 points by us. Lets hope this one’s it!

The Dogs are not to be underestimated. Sure they are not gelling at the moment but they have the talent to put on big scores ala Roosters (who caned us). Kimmorley,Roberts, Ennis, Idris, Morris, the general and Barba … is a very strong backine any way you look at it. Sure their fowards are understrength but they will be looking to prove something against us. We can’t shy away from the fact that we on our third choice halfback who is unproven with Marshall. I expect us to win but I doubt it will be easy.

with a light weeks at training we cant get to confident

I’ll be happy with just a win but there is one thing that MUST be done:
Farah smashes the living daylights out of Ennis… Legally of course, we dont want Robbie going down to Ennis’ level.
