    Team List R26 - ISP
Wests Tigers Intrust Super Premiership Coach Paul Stringer has named his team to take on the Illawarra Cutters for their Preliminary Final this Saturday.

Kickoff for the match is at 12:40pm AEST from UOW Jubiliee Oval as Wests Tigers look to take advantage of their top four finish and secure a spot in the Qualifying Final with a win against the Cutters, who finished the regular season in second position.

Stringer has made several changes to this week’s team with Curtis Sironen returning to the side after featuring in the NRL team last week. He takes his spot in the back row alongside Jackson Williams, while Tyler Cassel moves into the centres in place of Tony Tali.

Watson Heleta also returns at fullback in place of Luke Sharpe.

  • Good team

  • Cassel in the centres???
Sounds a little bit like Lovett all over again. Surely we have a proper centre in our club if not that is one area where we need more depth plus quality.

  • Surely we won’t run with Cherrington and Marshall-King on the bench?

  • Looks strong, I like it.

  • This is a good team. I like Liddle as hooker and should stay on the field for as long as possible, very good young player. Would be nice to see the ball thrown around more out to both sides so our outside backs get more ball. We have some speedsters in the team who are not seeing enough. Especially now vs these top sides, we will need those extra tries to win. Will be tough going now and we can’t afford to make mistakes with the pill

  • Where is RF?

  • Injured

  • @tigerap:

    Where is RF?

    What day is it?

Could be the Sackville, but i usually see him there on Saturdays.

Maybe Ivy? Newtown? Where are the hot spots these days?

  • Is he in US again? Watching NFL adds inormous value and is essential for his carrier at WT

  • Negotiating how to squeeze as much out of the Tigers as possible. It should no longer be mentioned that he has been excluded from first grade. You cannot be considered if you are not fit to play, which he has hardly been other than his publicity exercise playing at Leichhardt
