Tigers have most tries this season (26)
Tigers have missed the LEAST amount of tackle this season (123)

Terrific stats to start the season! I’m not sure of the stats, but I’m thinking most of the tries we concede are close to our try line. If we can fix up our goal line defence, we will go a long way in this premiership. Good signs early!

A lot of those missed tackles would have come from the Roosters game. Our defence seems to have improved a heap since then.

          More like our attitude improved.

          Simple as that.

They are interesting stats though, I’d be more than happy to still be coming 1st in those two stats come Round 26!

I seem to recall a stat that was posted last year, that since Benji started playing for Wests, if he played against the Bulldogs, we would win, but if he didn’t play, we would lose.

              Am I remembering this right?

Our try line defence was better last week too. Keep the right attitude - even if they do put a couple on us and we should come through with a win.

Same goes for the Raiders. I think he’s 6/6 vs them.

We always score a lot of tries, think we scored maore than anyone last seasona also?
Our defence is directly attributable to an improved mindset. Who knows……last season Canberra may have put 40 on us after getting behind that far, this year we come back and win, it’s a good sign.

We were equal first in the try scoring department last year.

                        The other team being souths.

We have conceded a try every week to a cross field bomb to our right side defence (Mitch Brown, Fitzy, Ayshford). If there’s a problem, that’s where it is.
