Throw $150k at. Xavier Coates, give him 2 years in NRL to develop as a top l
    Flight Centre or Fullback

You think $150k would get him with that potential? I honestly think wed have to offer $500k minimum. The Knights offered Ponga $600k before he had played an NRL game, to put it in perspective.

We’d need to offer 600k minimum for him. Pay massive overs and hope he comes good like ponga did.

  • If we do sign someone like Kurt capewell, I would consider playing him on the wing. Tall, fast winger something we lack, he’d probably be the best wing we we have at her club.

  • @Madge Capewell had a lot to do with two tries scored on the left by the Sharks. He seems to be a good footballer with very good pace for his size.

Ponga debuted in September and signed in November

The Mole: Canterbury Bulldogs make Knights forward Herman Ese’ese priority recruit
    By The Mole

The Bulldogs have made Knights wrecking ball Herman Ese’ese their main target for 2020.

Ese’ese was out of favour at the Knights early in the season but has bounced right back to form in recent weeks.

With their big names missing on State of Origin duty, Ese’ese was the Knights’ best forward in the narrow loss to the Warriors on the weekend.

The Bulldogs need more muscle up front and see the 24-year-old Kiwi and Samoan international as the perfect fit.

Ese’ese began his NRL career at the Dogs but played just one NRL game for the club in 2015 before moving to the Broncos and Knights.

Damn we thought we had him…

  • @Geo Am I missing something … How do the Dogs keep signing good players (I know Ese is not signed) and they are in salary cap problems, Board problems, Coach problems and on the bottom of the ladder yet we cannot even sign a reserve grade player. Don’t want to hear that we have Packer, Reynolds etc… because they don’t take up the whole cap…

DWZ is over hyped and on too much money,Stimpson is average/fair.
