AS FALLEN Wests Tigers halfback Tim Moltzen waited to go under the knife for season-ending knee surgery yesterday, club officials were sweating on the results of scans of hooker and captain Robbie Farah’s injured elbow.
Moltzen heads a long list of maimed Tigers, with fellow playmakers Robert Lui and Arana Taumata among those also sidelined.
Prop Keith Galloway was yesterday named to return but Todd Payten, Jason Cayless, Taniela Tuiaki, Tame Tupou and Simon Dwyer are all unavailable due to injury.
Farah, who hyper-extended his elbow in the 30th minute of last Friday’s defeat to Canterbury before playing the remainder of the match in intense pain, will be told the results by club medical staff today.
Chris Corby, the Wentworthville Magpies NSW Cup hooker, is on standby for Farah.
