Locking Threads

There have quite a few calls lately to close/lock threads. For example, closing the Tedesco thread because he signed elsewhere, or closing the Moses thread for the same reason.

If you believe that a thread should be closed/locked because you no longer wish to discuss the topic, or see other people discussing it, then sign out and go somewhere else. This forum is a place that facilitates Wests Tigers related discussion, as such any topic that is related to the club will remain open in perpetuity.

The only time a thread will be closed/locked will be if there is a breach of rules or there is a common-sense reason to close it down.

Please stop asking mods to close threads because you/we aren’t happy with the way the discussion is going.
If you don’t want to read about people’s thoughts on Moses playing for Parra, then don’t open the thread.
Simple.

I think the rep system causes the site to lag, which is why it was removed irrc.

as simple as that.
well done kul.

Thankyou Kul.

As if anyone would like to discuss anything on a discussion forum anyway.

There is a simple like system that is almost ready to be installed. It’s in beta stage but the developers are confident that it will be ready soon.

I don’t want to install and modules that are half cooked.

All good, thanks Kul.

There are several threads that dont interest me, so I simply dont open them. For example, once the deadline for the three imbos passed and they failed to re-sign, I posted that my time in their threads were done. Till this day I havent opened their threads and more than likely wont. Why? Because they dont want to be here so Im not interested in any discussion about them or anything pertaining to them. I wont even mention their names. It’s really that simple guys.
