It’s good to see the experiment of PNG playing in Oz has been successfully for them. The NRL should be doing everything they can to grow the game in the Pacific. Including Hawaii.

PNG Hunters still on top after another crushing win.

The PNG Hunters have cemented their place on top of the Intrust Super Cup ladder, with another thumping win, this time by 40 points to 18 over Norths Devils in Brisbane.

The Hunters fell behind early, but it was all square at half time, with each side crossing the try line twice.

After the break though Michael Marum’s team took control, piling on five tries to one in the second period, with super star goal kicker, Ase Boas, deadly accurate yet again with the boot, racking up six conversions in all.

Pacific Beat’s Hunters reporter, Melvin Levongo says coach Marum should be content with a result that leaves the Hunters a point clear of the Sunshine Coast Falcons at the top, and four ahead of third placed Redcliffe.
