Next Year Predictions......

  • With all the new signings we have for next year, what do you think will be the most cliched line that will come out of the mouths of the new signings when they get interviewed next year?

    • I was looking for a new challenge
    • I needed a fresh start
    • Things look really exciting for here and I wanted to be a part of it
    • I cant wait to get out there with the boys
    • I just want to buckle down, work hard and do my best

(HA! I bet you were all thinking about performance predictions)

  • I’ll go with exciting and I wanted to be part of it.

  • “We’ve got a good blend of youth and experience”
    " <player x="">has been training the house down"</player>

  • Im really excited by what Ivan had to say and i know my role here and cant wait to rip in with the boys.

    bring on the season opener.

  • “Hardest preseason ever”. Guarantee it will be said. like the sun rising in the east and setting in the west

After another pre season under our belt.

One small problem, and this may come as a shock but the sun doesn’t actually rise in the East and set in the West.
It only rises due east and sets due West 2 days a year.

  • You forgot about the obligatory " yea nah " before every sentence.

“Luke Brooks has been ripping it up at training and is raring to go”….

  • Nathan Cleary continues to stall on his contract negotiations with Penrith. Gus loses patience & releases him from his contract mid year. He ends up signing with the Tigers for 7 years at $600k a pop, Panthers paying his 2018 wage.

Idris has claimed that last one as forever his own.
I’d have hated to see the result if he hadn’t “trained the house down”. 😃

  • Tigers come 9th. soutgs get the wooden spoon.

  • Yeah, Nah, were just taking it one week at a time, just glad to get the 2 points. The boys are really putting in especially our front row. Woodsy is playing well in reggies so Mats and Pac are working hard to keep their spots. Josh running rings round Moses last week has really helped his confidence and LoLo being named NSW fullback (he was naturalised in the off season) has really been a great reward for early season form. I’m sure we’ll get beaten soon but until then we’ll just keep driving the bus. Roosters being knocked out of the NRL after being exposed as salary cap rorters for 25 years in succession has really opened the comp up. Well enjoy a few beers tonight and get back into it at training tomorrow……dare to dream!
