Help needed

Hello fellow forumers

My son has an assignment where he discusses his dream job and the young fella wants to be the boss of the Wests Tigers, and I have no clue in regards to how you could possibly be a CEO and the qualifications that are needed., if anyone could clarify that would be great as it’s one of the questions….

He needs to discuss ways where he could improve the club, so I thought I’d ask the Tigers faithful for any ideas on ways to improve memberships, ticketing and merchandise sales.

A business degree would be a good start.

You could probably get in touch with the club. They are very approachable. I think they’d give your boy some god advice.

To be a CEO?

Many paths but one thing is essential knowledge of finance.

Many Universities have degree paths in Sports Administration eg

http://www.latrobe.edu.au/courses/sport-management

Griffith University has this course available
https://www2.griffith.edu.au/study/business-government/sport-management

https://www.uts.edu.au/future-students/find-a-course/master-sport-management

Here is some information on an American site but the material is useful

ceo@weststigers.com.auGet him to put something like “I want your job” in the subject line 😃/ceo@weststigers.com.au

Just PM Milky because I think that he had a 1 on 1 meeting with Pascoe about the same thing, might be a fight between you son and Milky for the next CEO position at WT.

Haha I’ll get him to do that, I’ll let the forum know if Pascoe says anything!

Milky has a different career path lined up 😉

WestsBenTigers, had a one on one with Pascoe not long back. Maybe you could message him on how he set it up.
