Wests Tigers can provide the following Chemist Warehouse Injury Report heading in to the club’s Round 20 away game against the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.
After a last start win over the South Sydney Rabbitohs, Wests Tigers can confirm forward Josh Aloiai sustained a fractured hand in the victory and will be sidelined for approximately four weeks.
Prop forwards Tim Grant and Oliver Clark also both sustained MCL injuries playing for the club’s Intrust Super Premiership team in Round 19. Grant suffered a low grade MCL strain and is expected to be unavailable for 2-3 weeks while the 21-year-old Clark will be out for up to four weeks.
They join Chris Lawrence (hand/hamstring) and Mahe Fonua (arm) on the sidelines, with the pair progressing well in their respective recoveries in the hope of returning before the end of the regular season.
Robbie Farah, David Nofoaluma and Luke Garner were all taken off for concussion tests in the 22-6 win over South Sydney in Round 19 and have been named to take their place in the team this week.
They will be monitored by the club’s medical staff as they undergo the appropriate concussion protocols this week but are expected to take the field against the Bulldogs on Friday night.
Michael Chee Kam and Elijah Taylor both passed their concussion tests on the night and are right to play.
