2018 Golden Boot award nominess

Take your pick, not much to pick from…seems like quite a lean field this year

James Tedesco (Australia)

Dallin Watene-Zelezniak (New Zealand)

Elliott Whitehead (England)

Tommy Makinson (England)

THE Rugby League International Federation has announced the list of finalists for the 2018 Golden Boot awards.

The award recognises the most outstanding performances in both men’s and women’s international matches and covers all fully-sanctioned international games played from the final of RLWC 2017 to the England v New Zealand game played on November 5.

Dallin Watene-Zelezniak headlines a list of four finalists for the men’s award, while Ali Brigginshaw leads a field of five vying for the inaugural women’s accolade.

Ali Brigginshaw (Australia)

Brittany Breayley (Australia)

Georgia Roche (England)

Honey Hireme (New Zealand)

Isabelle Kelly (Australia)

The winners will be announced at the Hall of Fame & RLIF Golden Boot Dinner which will be held at Elland Road, Leeds on Wednesday November 7th.

Methinks Teddy has both hands on the trophy already. Head and shoulders above the rest.

Tedesco will take out the golden boot

I feel it will be a purely political decision so i expect Whitehrad to get it

Id love us to sign whiteheads

Friends with a Roosters supporter. he would agree with me on this. Tedesco is one of the great attacking players in the game unfortunately his positional play when the opposition is in the 20 is dead set ordinary.

Would be scary to think how good he could be if he put it all together.

Hopefully these new Golden Boots will help him follow the ball and be where the try scorer is to prevent a couple of tries.
