Brisbane Broncos trying to offload former Test forward Alex Glenn

The Broncos are attempting to sell off Kiwi international back-rower Alex Glenn to a rival club or England - before June 30.

At least two clubs have shown interest in Glenn, who is one of the Broncos’ longest serving players with 11 seasons under his belt.

Glenn scored a hat-trick during the trials and has featured in both the Broncos’ games this season but the club believes they have more dynamic young forwards coming through the ranks.

Brisbane have some of the game’s most exciting big men in Joe Ofahengaue, Matt Lodge, Tevita Pangai Jnr, David Fifita and Thomas Flegler. They believe Glenn, aged 30, would be better suited elsewhere and have put out the word to rival clubs that he is available.

No thanks.
Good player, but would most likely want more money than he is worth for us.

Probably end up at the Titans.

Great recruitment and retention by the ponies, Glenn is definitely excess baggage at this stage of his career and they can’t have him stalling the progress of their young guys.

The Broncos look like they’re building back to the Tallis Webke Petro days of dominance, could be scary in 12 months time.

They can keep Alex Glen and we’ll take TPJ off their hands to free up their cap problem.

Many may not rate Alex Glenn but many of the Brisbane fans do rate him

Remember talking to the old man and he told me when he found out that Alex Glenn was going to miss the Saints semi that Brisbane he thought would get lapped

im gonna have to pass on this one thanks, another team that needs someone of his caliber can snag him *cough Titans cough

No thanks. Was solid not great and is now past his prime
