Thompson: Lessons have been learned from start of 2018

Wests Tigers winger Corey Thompson says his side have learned from the lessons of 2018 as they look to extend their winning streak to three straight games this Sunday afternoon. Last year, a young Wests Tigers side came out of the blocks firing with five wins in their first six games before a midseason slump saw them drop back to the pack and eventually miss the finals despite posting their best overall record since 2011. Under the guidance of a new Coach in Michael Maguire and with the experience of Robbie Farah and Benji Marshall leading the way, Thompson believes Wests Tigers are far more equipped this year to make their strong start to 2019 go the distance.

This is something that maybe could have waited till rd10 to say.

I say no lessons have been learnt, still can’t win the games against bottom teams, mentally weak forever
