Nofoaluma looking forward to improving Bankwest Stadium fortune

Wests Tigers winger David Nofoaluma says he’s determined to improve his side’s performances at Bankwest Stadium ahead of Thursday’s showdown against the South Sydney Rabbitohs.

After a disappointing performance against the Canberra Raiders in the club’s first home game at the venue, Nofoaluma says the side are desperate to produce a good effort at the state-of-the-art facility with three important home games coming up in the next three weeks against top eight sides in the Rabbitohs, Roosters and Eels.

The team will host their final training session in preparation for Thursday’s game at the venue on Wednesday, with Nofoaluma confident that the session will greatly assist the side’s ability to get the job done against South Sydney.

“We know we haven’t been successful there,” Nofoaluma conceded, "and we know that we really need to turn it around in way that we play.

"I think having our Captain’s Run session there will really benefit us in the game.

"It’s our first Captain’s Run session at Bankwest and it’s a good thing for us to go and do that session there and go through our drills and plays at the stadium.

“We haven’t done that in the past so it’s a good chance to turn it around.”

Wests Tigers players relieved Mbye is okay

Coming off an enjoyable week in camp with the Samoan national side, Nofoaluma said the Pacific Test victory provided him with further confidence after a number of strong performances for the first-grade side in recent weeks.

“I really enjoyed my time in camp with a great bunch of boys,” he said.

"The game itself was really special too being able to represent my heritage.

"I really wanted to make sure I took what I bring every week here to that camp, and it’s working well for me here with Esan and Benji on that side of the field.

“Now it’s just about the Rabbitohs,” Nofoaluma added.

"We came up against them a few weeks ago and they had a decent win.

“We’ve got to be prepared as it’s a really important game for us.”

“we know what we have to do, and we just have to execute it”

On the bright side it can’t get much worse at bankwest.

KT I have found that this club has a knack of making comments like these truly mean nothing

Is getting beaten by 24 an improved showing? It can’t get much worse.

Man, if i had a dollar for every positive puff piece the Wests Tigers players trot out . . .

How about win a game and then speak your mind.

Hopefully third time around the 17 players selected will have all worked out the directions to the ground and actually show up to play.

Was away for previous Wankbest home game. Looking forward to Thursday night.

After our first offensive and defensive sets end, you’ll probably be able to tell if we’re a chance or are about to be blown off the park.

Great, this will sounds like the kiss of death…as if we needed extra help

Wasn’t going to go, but after the recent bye and not giving much more than two hoots about origin, it has been somewhat of a drought footy wise lately, so heading out, even though it’s a bloody Thursday game.

If we don’t concede 30 there then it will be an improvement…

If we don’t drop the ball at kick off it will be a good night.

well that’ll definitely be a better start than our last

I can’t get why we play PARRA there in a home game.
Should have been at any other ground then that. So money talks.
