Semi Radradra looking for NRL return
      2h ago
      Semi Radradra
Semi Radradra is reportedly looking for a surprise return to the NRL.

The Fijian flyer left Parramatta after the 2017 for a lucrative rugby union contract with powerhouse side Toulon.

But, after several seasons in Europe, the dual international wants to return to Australia, according to the Daily Telegraph.

According to the report, Radrada prefers Australia to France, and has even started putting out the feelers for a rugby league return.

Parramatta are reportedly the warm favourites, despite the huge price tag that Radradra will inevitably request.

Radradra left the Eels after five seasons and 94 games.

One of the most potent attacking weapons in the game at the time of his departure, Radradra had scored an incredible 82 NRL tries.

He left the Eels for a huge contract in Toulon before joining Bordeaux.

Last September he was on a three-player shortlist for best player in French rugby alongside Julien Dumora and Ben Botica.

Radradra made his rugby union Test debut for Fiji, having previously represented his country at U20 and Sevens level.

In the 13-man code, he played four Tests for Fiji, and one for Australia.

News that Radradra wants to return to the Eels comes as current Parramatta winger Blake Ferguson will be sidelined indefinitely.

Ferguson picked up an infection several weeks ago and was hospitalised this week.

Eels coach Brad Arthur confirmed the Ferguson will miss Parra’s home game against the Warriors on Saturday.

He 'd be a great signing , but until we get the right players inside him he’d be a waste of money

Signing with the Roosters, and they still have plenty of cap space left.

If he goes to Parra, we should make a play for Siva, he is very young, way cheaper and could end up better

Could seriously be disastrous for us, go for Sivo or Mulitalo and tell them the club’s in their hands, seem to have better hands than 90% of ours!

Well I really can’t see him playing any position but wing … so seriously how do you justify paying anything over $400-500k.
No thanks. And had same thoughts with MWZ when he was relocating and available … although he is more versatile.

@851 This is an interesting thought … if Sammy does go to Parra this bloke will be playing Reggie’s and definitely to good for that arena, worth a thought .

@851 yep, this would be the smart play.

Even if West Tigers win Powerball this week they can’t put that fortune into their CAP. With the CAP money they have at the moment they would be squeezing to afford even half a Radrada. All of these signing suggestions are so depressing. Wests tigers just cannot afford 95% of thee suggestions within the present CAP space legacyleft by their previously glorified coach Ivan Cleary. We should stop dreaming and go to basics to find a way out of our predictament.

@Newtown I really think it’s not that bad. This year there is a squire but still limited room which we can carry over. Next year much better.
