Very sad news. Another Aussie music icon gone.

Only saw the rifles once and trying to remember which pub that I saw them play, but it was a good night.

I’ve seen them probably half a dozen times , couple times as support acts for the Angels , once for Johnny Diesel and the Injectors and they may have supported from memory U2 with wedding parties and anything …(that was a big night bit shady )

Loved Damo, especially his football commentary. Very sad he’s gone.

My favourite live band. Saw them regularly in the late 80s - 90s. Also saw them upstage nirvana at the BDO.
Very sad to hear Damien has passed away. A Legend of Sydney. Sports lover and could rock -
Damn. That’s sad to hear.
Been seeing them live for nearly 30 years.
Les Fusils Celibataires is one of the all time great albums for me.
Anthem for Tigers fans so often:
“Oh we’re nowhere, yeah yeah yeah”
Love that song.
Nails the inner city world around me in my 20s.
