Best Balmain/Wests/West Tigers team

This is the best combined team that I have seen play, from late 70’s. I might need a bit of help on the wests side but happy for input:

  1. Garry Jack
  2. Tim Brasher
  3. Gary Schofield
  4. Ellery Hanley
  5. Larry Corowa
  6. Benji Marshall
  7. Scott Prince
  8. Steve Roach
  9. Benny Elias
  10. Bruce Maguire
  11. Anthony Laffranchi
  12. Paul Sironen
  13. Wayne Pearce ©
  14. Brett Hodgson
  15. Chris Lawrence
  16. John Skandalis
  17. Simon Dwyer

Freeman was a better 7 than Prince

Swap Ellis for Laffranchi too

👍

Gee how good could Dwyer of been.

👍

Forgot about ellis…first man picked

I think prince was a better 7 if only in 2005

I’ve been following Tigers since 1985 and this is probably my favourite:

  1. Jack

  2. Tuiaki

  3. Hanley

  4. Currier

  5. Richards

  6. Marshall

  7. Freeman

  8. Roach

  9. Farah

  10. Skandalis

  11. Ellis

  12. P. Sironen

  13. Pearce

  14. McCracken

  15. Senter

  16. Galloway

  17. McGuire

Keith Barnes

sorry didn’t see “late 70s”

Don’t you guys remember Scotty Gayle…he was pretty good…he has passed away in the last few years from an illness but was a good player in the day…Mick Neil was handy as well…

I don’t remember too much about Scotty Gayle. Was a fan of Mick Neil though, but Benji gave us 2005 (along with a few mates), so couldn’t swap him out of the team.

i know we dont like Benny Elias but he has to be hooker surely with Farah

Scotty Gale was the most underrated player of his time and he should of been picked to represented his State and Country…I’d have Gale and Freeman as my halves pairing…

  1. Gaery Jack
  2. P Richardson

  4. Tim Brasher

    7 Raudonikus

    9 elias
    10 skandalas

    12 Linder

    14 Farah
    15 langmack
    16 Beetson
    17 Ellis
    coach Warren Ryan

I didn’t get too far before stopping. Some of our supporters are so one eyed. Richards and Skandalis were good club footballers and nothing more. Dwyer would have been a Kangaroo. no doubt.
