Doesn’t his wife and kids live in Europe? , if so better for him.

I wish him well.He was an excellent player but does not seem to be able to pass his football knowledge to his players,hopefully coaching in the UK will allow that to be developed.

Agree Russell, this is no time for nepotism, this is a seriously crucial position. The club’s future success depends on getting it right.
This new position is a great idea. I see it forming a valuable link, smooth integrated transition. -
Will always be one of my favourite players , very likeable bloke but he isn’t a coach imo. All the best in your future endeavours Hodgo legend
