do we get a discount in the salary cap? will he be classified as a veteran or senior citizen? lol

So that’s 5 seasons RIDICULOUS
already peaked ! now you all know why these decisions lead to no finals appearances.

I have a feeling we will be in the top 8 this year.

Our best forward for the past 4 years has resigned for another 4 years
Great observation

I have seen Nofoalama play fullback in his under 20 team with the club. The bonus is that he is quite a safe fullback with speed, capable of filling that position if the need arises. With the wingers we have signed/likely to sign this season he could easily find himself playing fullback when the need arises.
-
Keep Nofo a one-club man and reward his loyalty with some finals appearances!
-
With it being 4 years, I’m assuming the dollars can’t be too much. Surely hartigan wouldn’t sign him for big money and four years, he seems smarter than that, unless he was pushed by Lee or some other higher up to do it.
-
Remember Madges video on nofo…
“theres no way in the world that Dave is leaving… He loves this club”

Hartigan did not sign him the chairman did !the good old days are back .

Not true…

Only tigers fans could complain about signing a guy who visibly shows his passion for the club and breaks his backside every week for us , lol
Some leaks I have heard are 450k a year with the 4th year a club option
I believe that is alright business if true

At least at fullback he will not leave his winger unmarked.
Would be good if Madge gave him a go at fb for round 1 -

You can’t understand that there would be some reservations around the length of the contract? Look at the recent past, how have these big contracts worked out for the club.
Add to that, look at Nofa’s form. One good season. One. The club is not locking in a time proven, consistent player. They are locking in a bloke with one good season.
Passion is great, finals is better. I support Wests Tigers. Every decision the club makes has to be with the soul purpose of getting better.
Anyways, its done now. Let’s hope Nofa repays the faith and expands on last season.

Everyone has a value. We didn’t want to sign a heavily subsidised Mansour because he was 30, and past his best. Nofo is 27 now, by the time the contract is up he will be very nearly 32. If it’s $450k a year for the length of the contract, it isn’t smart. This is a high risk signing.
