Yeah at this point I don’t see Laurie as a 5/8th, but think he is probably our best fullback.

Douehi has to be the team after rd1 for mine and he looked very comfortable at 5/8
Luci and AD are the potential superstars this club needs. Brooks also classy. The whole pack looks hungry and fit. Weak opposition today and it’ll be much tougher in two weeks but good signs.
The forward pack wasnt weak. Apart from Jake T that was a full strength forward pack.
People are undervaluing our dominance through the middle today.

I watched Laurie following Lucy all day today and that combination is going to score thousands. His go is to always be close to the ball and take advantage of offloads, even that quick play the ball when he scored. He’s always close enough to be involved so he needs that roving fullback role rather than be slotted at 5/8.

They were missing Aloiai …sorry let me rephrase that …Aloiai went missing
The bloke from Manly who has been missing was the young fella who had the shocking leg injury Magic Round in 2019 …his name slips my mind …was one of their best that night until injured

Lucy was huge today, he could be one of the better second rowers in the game by season end.
