How does he go? I assume he was the one that played for NZ Maori last year vs Dreamtime Team. I remember the name. If it is, i remember he had a pretty good game there. Is playing good for the Magpies?

              Been playing well.

Has played every position in the backline and at hooker this year! Better suited in the halves though. Has been playing real well the past few weeks at fullback, adding some extra ball playing out wide. Elusive runner of the ball with decent speed. Decent kicking game also.

              Very valuable squad member.

That’s the problem right there though. Benji and Moltzen look good in the halves, we’ve got Lui who is being promoted as well Taumata who is a 6.

He banged over 8 from 8 in tricky windy conditions most from wide….He certainly adds heaps to the Pies in absence of Gallant in first grade…He’s a tough footballer…good skills…

I doubt Charlie had hopes of a first grade call up when the Magpies signed him. He knew what was in front of him and coming through the ranks before he signed. He is a valuable squad member who provides good depth as he plays a number of positions.

the ground announcer at c’town once again made a mistake trying to say his name. i heard a ‘l’ in there.

i know he isn’t much of a chance filling in for gallant (if he is injured) but imagine rabs or gus trying to pronounce charlie’s surname. rabs can’t even say hunt
