  • Ahhhh
Sitting in a Hong Kong sports bar watching Aussies bash Pakis.
Wife upstairs eating frog and eel with 10 of her closest friends.
    Life’s good!

  • They had one dangerous bowler and our batters tried to constantly hit him for 6 and got what they deserved.

  • Started strong but finished like a man who is 110.Middle order failed badly

  • Very poor batting and typical of our continued approach. We will probably win this game but our batting resilience needs to improve greatly. Soft underbelly

I don’t get what the change in the batting order was meant to achieve

Surely after the great start like we got if your going to make changes to play around with a pinch hitter …which is what we will need to chase down a 350 + score v India or England

  • Went to bed just after Smith got out. Was a little disappointed to see that we could only bat on 110 for the last 8 wickets with 23 overs to go.

    Very disappointing.

  • Did not deserve a win, honestly

  • Cricket grounds are going the same way as golf courses …technology is making them inadequate

Watching one batsmen hit 17 6’s in one innings and 33 6’s in one game tells me we need to make the playing arenas bigger

Be interesting to see what players who had retired 5-10 years ago think after using modern bats

Remember seeing Jack Nicklaus only a few years ago saying he hit his driver further now than he did in his prime 40 - 45 years ago

  • SA could have won that but chocked . Kane Williamson played a top Knock.

SA got lucky even being in the game …one batsmen slips and is out hit wicket …another gets an edge on a bad delivery that would’ve been called a wide if he doesn’t feather it

The Saffas lack a Lance Klusener type in their line up at that 7 spot to be a worry and many in their top order are out of form
