just read that penrith are not going to offfer this bloke a contract my thinking is get him, get a pre season under his belt get some weight of the big fella and we have got ourselves a ball playing prop with sheensy’s coaching and folkesy’s training this is what the bloke needs and he will be cheap as cronulla have told him he is free to go despite still haveing a year to go on his contract…… your thoughts

No way in the world. The Tigers have enough depth in the forwards without resorting to an overweight butterball being added to the squad.

If the Tigers competed in pie eating competitions, I’d be fully in favour of signing Cuthbertson. But as I understand it we are a footy team and there is no room on our bench for his ample bottom. There is a reason that Cronulla would like to show the door to this overpriced, overweight pork chop. Unfortunately it looks like he’ll be part of Cronullas’ Ricky Stuart induced hangover.
Don’t we still have Jason Cayless next year anyway ?

No thanks. We’ve got a stack of better forwards than this log at the club.

He knocked us back for the sharks, we were lucky, maybe a season with jenny craig might help as he just seems so overweight & unfit. must admit he had potential a couple of years back @ manly. No thanks.

No point going for a extremely poor mans Todd Payten when we have the real deal

Cuthberston I think has the potential to be a great player - when his offloads stick he can be very valuable. Unfortunately he has this complex with offloading EVERY SINGLE TIME he has the ball. More often than that this are hail mary passes to nobody in particular.

I have a few mates that play at the Sharks, and they said he has had massive run-ins with both coaches because he does not listen to their simple instruction DO NOT OFFLOAD THE FOOTBALL - UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. He just can’t help himself, hence him earning over $200k a year to play State Cup. At this stage, looks like he is going to do the same thing next season as well.

We dont have to go for second rate players anymore.

Every place in the top 25 is precious
