I’m so tired of these self opinionated hamsters. They’re starting to make Greg Alexander look humble and balanced. Every time there is a decision pending with the video ref, one, the other or both confidently assert what the correct decision is, usually accompanied by a comment like ‘This will be a try’, ‘There can’t be any other decision’, ‘I’ll walk to Bourke….’ etc.
The language is beyond arrogant, with the clear inference that the video ref will look a donkey if not in accord with their ‘decision’. Who asked them to be personally insulted if an official’s decision differs from theirs?

what about gus and rabbs always arguing lol
-
what would u like them to do… sit their and twidle their thumbs?
and 95% of the time they are right… so whats the problem
-
Bring back Frank Hyde…
-
I don’t mind Sterlo so much cause he generally tries to explain his opinion and doesn’t take himself quite as serious, but Gould has always irked me. He makes rash calls and is incredibly opinionated. He reminds me of a muppet, not sure which one tho.
-
Noone is as bad as Fittler.
When he interviewed Farah after the raiders game he only wanted to ask questions about the weather lol.
He always comes across as a complete idiot -

It depends how many 1000’s he has dropped on a certain team to win!!!

He always comes across as a complete idiotNot wrong i cant stand him. He cant string more than two sentences together. And he constantly cheers on the roosters, hes certainly got a short memory
-
Fittler and Joey Johns always seem like they are drunk and on the marching powder whenever they commentate
-
Fittler was never the sharpest tool in the shed…I like him cause he doesn’t pretend to be what he isn’t…He brings honesty to the commentary box …Biased as and doesn’t hide it…funny to some of his sideline stuff this year has been halrious
Gus is awesome…he is what he is
Sterlo…does he even say anything lately…
Joey is blessed to even have a gig…
Much rather listen to them than Andy and Snozz and what about SKYNZ…Mute works wonders for them
-
Billy Slater did some grand final commentary (wonder how muxh he was paid)
And he has got the worst voice i have ever heard. If he ever becomes a proper vommentator after retirement my mute button will be on all the time when he commentates
-
no no no no no no, he talks to much, and man the eyes, he must not sleep alot,
-
i actually like their commentary work. both are wise men when it comes to rugby league. when they talk, you listen. hence i dont see what the problem is when they give an opnion, its there job isnt it?..seriously look at the difference between the games on fox and nine

and for a bonus ten points which teams high profile board does the boss of nine sports sit on.fittler did my head in when in extra time of the roosters semi he would constantly hijack the commentary with a caaaarrrn roosters screech.god enough already. :brick: :brick:

- Fittler is geniune but sounds like he’s been hit by a concrete truck, plus his Roosters bias shows;
- Gould should be only allowed to coach in the NRL, his insight into the game is fantastic, but as a commentator, he is a reknowned fence sitter and dumbarse of the highest order. Needs to give the soundbytes a rest (“I larrrrve the Tigahs on a Sundy arvo at Leichhardt!,” “No no no no no!” “He’s looking dangerous today!” “Awwwwww WOW!”
- Rabs is past it, and spends more time arguing with Gus than calling the footy;
- Joey is the lovechild of Gus and Captain Obvious. Loves the sound of his own voice, constantly repeating himself from the sideline. Trots out the classics like “It’s a game with two sides,” “The team that scores the most points will win.”
- Sterlo is probably the best, when the Eels aren’t commentating. The Eels can be down by forty points and Sterlo would still be picking the other sides game to pieces.
