No Lawrence or Farah???
Have now decided I hope that Benji carves the Kangaroos up.
Didn’t expect Farah to start with Smith’s goalkicking prowess, but certainly a bench spot.
Lawrence I thought had a chance to start.
Tuqiri won’t see the ball all game with Smith playing one side only.
I haven’t closely watched all the games but thought from the bits I saw that Lockyer’s (and I think he is/was a great player) has already played his best games, and that Carney is more of a fear factor for the Kiwis.
Oh well……roll on March 2011. -
Time to put Lockyer, Petro and Tate out to pasture after this one. I dont mind that they get one last series.
2011 should see a revitalisation of the NSW Blues with should flow on to the Aussies.
-
and Oh yeah - Im going for Benji as well.
-
I find it very difficult to cheer for an Aus team full of Queenslanders (sorry Watto), so, GO BENJI!
-
Me too, i’ll be cheering on Benji for a carve up and then goldern boots honours.

2 of that 3 wont play for Australia again…
Mrs T - I understand your frustration that Queensland are so dominant
All Hail DARREN LOCKYER!!! (Benji is going down…) [no dog jokes please]
:wahoo:
-
Please…Australia will smash them…
Just don’t hurt Bunji…
-
Its a slow off season…
-
hahaha you people are funny….although I hope that Benji isnt hurt for next year, I hope the Roo’s get up in his face and smash him - he is the enemy!
I think it could very well be Marshalls little 15 minute burst towards the end of the game last week that has seen Lawrence be excluded from the team. As good as Chris is, Benji had him chasing ghosts.
I dont agree with Carney taking the spot I had hoped for Robbie, he isnt a big game player yet, as he showed in both the GF and last week.
Of course the QLD boys should be there…they have consistently wallopped your puny new south welshmen for years now…show some form at Origin time or face these consequences…pretty simple really.

By that logic, Tuqiri shouldn’t be in the team either.
-
I really don’t get the logic of putting Gidley on the bench. People say he is a smart thinker and a game breaker but I still have no idea what his potential is. He doesn’t shine at club level, hasn’t done much in Origin or at Test level.
So, I think I would go for Boyd as we know he is a great big game player as shown in the finals, GF and Origin. You give this bloke some space and he can carve you up.
For me, it’s a choice between Farah and Boyd but as we know Farah is out so IMO Boyd should get the bench spot.
