I always thought it was Whakatane? Maybe that was just where he grew up

From Wikipedia: Marshall was raised without his biological father, but has spoken of the influence of Michael Doherty, and other men within his extended family. He has said he had, “10 or 11 fathers … which is not a bad thing.”[1] He went to school at Whakatane Intermediate.[2] The eldest of three brothers, he was offered a scholarship to play for a high school in the Gold Coast, Queensland when he was 16. While attending Keebra Park Secondary High School, Marshall played for the Australian Schoolboys team in 2003.[3] He also represented Australia in touch football that year.

If Benji chooses to walk away from his Home Country (which I highly doubt will happen), looks like he would be a Queenslander Geo 😆 😆 😆

He wasn’t born in NSW, if he was Qld would have tried to claim him already.

Uh Oh…once again you fail…using WIKI as evidence…Bwahahaha…

To set the record straight I have dove into the ‘OFFICIAL WESTS Tigers Forum’ archives for the truth…

BENJI MARSHALL in fact born in Leumeah NSW…abandoned on the steps of the Skando Stand Campbelltown Stadium…played his 1st footy for the WESTS Magpies Touch fotball team at 6 years of age thus qualifying him for NSW ORIGIN…

Heres the photo evidence…big for his age at the time…

the man would never sacrifice the NZ jersey to play origin - nor should he.

I believe that they are actually a set of intricate birthmarks, but can commonly be confused with tattoos.
