I have a feeling that 2011 will emulate the 2005 season, I have bought a book about 2005 ‘Forever Brothers’ or something like that, I have the 2005 season highlights and the Grand Final on DVD.
What the club didn’t have was the anecdotal and behind the scenes footage of the 2005 season put on DVD for perpertuity, I can recall the TV news both before and after the Grand Final and wish I had kept it on Video tape.
So in preparation for a stellar season can I suggest that all our fans keep every bit of TV footage they can and at the end of the season a Forum supporter like Bonstonker can turn it into a keepsake.
I can recall the news footage the night after the 2005 Grand Final where Benji’s extended family surprised him with a haka and would enjoy to see again the scenes at Leichhardt and Campbelltown for the celebrations.
What I am I am trying to suggest is that we had better get prepared for 2011, fasten the belts because the only thing that will beat us next season is a Salary cap rorting club. :wahoo: -
