One thing that always sticks in my mind is an article ages ago about Benji and how his 2 younger bro’s were hoping to follow in his footsteps and that one day we may have a Marshall dynasty at the Tigers.

So, I did a quick search and found that Benji’s bro, Jordan, has been playing touch with the Sydney Scorpions, it seems really well. The same way Benji started out.

Looks like he is in the 18s now, but has been selected in the 20s touch Aussie squad. So the kid knows how to play like his brother.

Anyone know if he is in the Tigers plans? Or maybe Jordan will keep with Touch footy.

How good would it be to see 2 Marshalls line up for the Tigers!. Could be even better than the Johns bros.

If he is in the 18s/20s for touch and has not played any junior reps or high level schoolboy league he has clearly missed the boat for a top-grade career!

By his age Benji had repped for Australian Schoolboys - played Arrive Alive for Keebra and even made his first grade debut!

Benji is a one-off - and his brother has probably made the right decision in not trying to follow in his large steps!

Benji’s younger brothers probably changed their minds about playing in the NRL after watching him

go through the pain of all those shoulder injuries.

I’m hoping that’s why he is still playing touch at the moment… to bulk up before giving the NRL a go to avoid injuries like Benji.
