The Towsville Bulletin has printed details of the Wests Tigers’ first trial game in 2011 against the North Queensland Cowboys. Instead of Barlow Park in Cairns, the game has been moved to Townsville.
“North Queensland will take on Wests Tigers at the ground on February 11 following a forced reshuffle of the pre-season schedule due to Mackay Stadium’s construction to be ongoing next year following torrential rain in the region. That means the Mackay clash against the Titans has been moved to Cairns and the Tigers match originally slated for Barlow Park will come to Townsville.
February 11: Cowboys v Tigers, Brothers Leagues Club, Townsville.” -
