Is anyone else venturing out to Acer Arena to watch the UFC. Tickets i know have been sold out for the event a day before they went on sale to the general public. I was lucky enough to find a password to get the tickets not perfect but still the atmosphere will be awesome and well and truly a once in a lifetime experience

i did man top fight on gsp’s behalf. he proved that u dont have to have to raw strength and power to hurt somebody as long as u have the right preparation and execute the game plan right you can do serious damage. He may not have finished but that just shows how tough koscheck is. but all in all GSP world best fighter no contest. Who’s next for GSP i cant think of anyone bar Anderson Silva but thats up a class

GSP done a great job on koscheck on the weekend. that was the only UFC that I’ve watched on main event. good fight - good pre-hype before the fight as well.

This has to be one of the most crazy and innovative things to have ever happened inside the octagon.

i got 6 diamond tickets but could only get tickets in groups of 2…ufc hype train overstates things…they said it sold out in 15 mins…i got my tickets at 5pm the day they went on sale to fight club members…4 hours and 45mins after it supposedly sold out.

As for the card it is nowhere near the quality of the 110 card

Bj Penn v Jon fitch - It will either be a lay n prey fight that fitch is known for or BJ will get the finish… he wont win a decision v fitch but i think BJ can will stop fitch

Bisping v riviera - Easy win for the count…way to classy…will probably get the UD though as bisping isnt known for stopping people and jorge is tough

G-sot v siver - Dangerous fight for george and really is worthy of a higher ranked opponent…he really has nothing to gain and everything to lose from this fight…george needs to get this to the ground fast…if he does he will sub siver easily but if he cant then siver who is one of the best strikers @ LW will beat george…its a classic fight of striker v grappler…i see goerge getting atleast 1 take down and if he does thats where it will end

Noke v camozzi - A nothing fight…kyle should win this easily…probably second round submission

Condit v lytle - IMO this is the best fight of the night… the natural born killer is legit and is coming off a devastating KO win over dan hardy lytle is very under-rated and well rounded and will be tough…he has never been stoped in over 50 mma fights and i dont see condit being the first…but i do see condit dominating this fight and winning the UD and putting himself as the No1 contender in the WW division

ufc 125 is this weekend and sees the LW title go on the line.

Edgar v maynard - for the LW championhip

Edgar holds the title with consecutive wins over BJ penn who will headline 127… The spanner in the works for this fight is maynard who is the only person to inflict a loss on edgar in pro MMA…this fight is all but certain to go 5 round with both styles not suited for a finish maynard has had 8 of his 10 mma wins by decision and frankie has 10 of his 13 by decision…my prediction is maynard will repeat the dose he gave edgar 2 years ago and win a UD

                    Thiago silva v brendan vera

this promises to be a great fight thiago silva is one of the best fighters in the LHW division and probably has the heaviest hands of all the LHW fighters…his only 2 losses are against former champions in machida and evans and expect him to be too strong for vera who is coming off a devastating loss to up and comer jon bones jones in which he suffered a horrific facial fracture… - my predicition is silva 2nd round TKO

Nate diaz v dong hyum kim - entertaining fight here nate has been impressive since moving to WW with 2 solid wins against good opposition…this will be a good test for nate thought to see if he can make a push into the top 10 WW’s in the ufc… i think nate can win this and maybe get the submission in rnd 2…though kim has never lost officially he did lose a split decision to karo parysian but later had it over turned when parysian tested positive for a banned substance… nate via submission rnd 2

chris leben v brian stann- this should be a stand up war if leben has his way which i think he will…coming off back to back wins v aaron simpson and akiyama leben will be looking to takedown former wec LHW champ stann and probably should do so via decision…leben may put himself into contention for a shot at the title with a win here and this will be enough motivation for him to get the win

should be a good card…all mma fans and potential fans should get this card…

they sold out in fifteen minutes after going on sale to the general public. The Fight Club and Newsletters had allotments whilst the GP could still get some tickets but most were gone before hand.

UFC 125 i see Edgar winning here setting up a great fight against Anthony Pettis, im interested in the gomi vs guida fight with the winner slated to face the winner of sotiropolous and siver in a probable number one contenders fight. Leben, Silva and Diaz are who i think will win their respective fights.

I will stream this card for sure on Sunday

where did you get the info of guida/gomi fighting G-sot if he wins? that would mean the neither guida or gomi would fight for over 6-7 months.

G-sot is more likely to get dunham if he disposes of guillard at fight for the troops…i know mark bocek called out g-sot after he subbed hazlett but i dont see that fight happening basically because he wanted at toronto which is only 4 weeks after 127.

either way i still think G-sot is atleast 2 wins away from a shot with the merger of the wec into the ufc putting that back atleast 8 months…as for pettis he wont beat any top 5 ranked ufc LW fighter

gomi was rumoured to fight sotiropolous before the guida and siver matches were announced. That being said this was before the WEC takeover and the Florian injury leaving Evan Dunham up in the air. Originally the winner of dunham and florian would fight edgar/maynard mid year but now its all speculation.

Lesnar is rumoured to want out of UFC to return to the WWE and reportedly has not even entered a gym since his loss to Velasquez in October.

                          Next Title Matches (Rumoured/Confirmed)

Heavyweight - Velasquez vs Dos Sanots (no date set but look to mid year round ufc 130)
Light Heavyweight - Rua vs Evans (Rumoured UFC 128)
Middleweight - Silva vs Belfort - UFC 126
Welterweight - St Pierre vs Shields (Rumoured to take place at UFC 129 in toronto but not confirmed)
Lightweight - Edgar vs Maynard - UFC 125 - Winner fights Pettis
Featherweight - Aldo vs ??? (Was scheduled to fight to Grispi at 125 but injury preveneted this. Aldo is said to be the best pound for pound fighter in the world)
Bantamweight - Cruz vs Faber (No date set or match announced but expected to happen mid year as well)

i think cain is too strong for JDS…cain can win this fight anywhere…dos santos has to land a big punch to win

According to Dave Meltzer of Yahoo! Sports/Wrestling Observer, Brock is currently looking for an “exit strategy” from the UFC.

Meltzer said on his radio show that the fight with Velasquez has changed Brock’s attitude on fighting and he is at the stage in his life where he doesn’t want to get injured. He’s very well off financially and the business man in him apparently knows that it may be time to move on.

Meltzer also mentioned that Brock hasn’t trained a single day since the Velasquez fight nor he has returned any phone calls to Dana or Zuffa about upcoming matches.

Dave pointed out if Brock was motivated, he would be right back in the gym training and bringing in new coaches with the goal of beating Cain yet he isn’t doing that. He’s hunting and hasn’t even thought about his next fight. Lesnar apparently wants to do WrestleMania “badly” and will earn an estimated 2 million dollars for 30 minutes of wor.

Everything is pointing towards Brock having one more fight and ending his contract. His head doesn’t seem to be in the fighting game and it looks like it was just yet another successful business move.
