Absolute prick of a game to play. I either hit it way left, way right, or top it so it rolls about 50m. When I actually do hit it well it lands in somebody’s divot that they couldn’t be bothered fixing up. I feel that 99% of the stress in my life left me the day I gave the game away.

I play a bit, pretty long off the tee, reasonable with the irons and close to dreadful at chipping and putting.
Still dont mind it though but only on the odd occasion these days.

I used to hate the game until I started going on end-of-year corporate golf days when I started my apprenticeship and have played the game ever since. Problem is I’m either great with my long game and my short game goes to buggery or vice versa, can never string it all together at once. Played the other week at the goat track in Leonay and shot 94, chipping & putting was woeful.

Love Playing - It’s the only time I get Close to saying Naughty words.
I haven’t had a proper hit out in 4 or so years which is tragic as I live across the road from a course and the Driving range is 600 meters away.

I must admit I like playing golf.
have been having a go at it since 1957, and still enjoy it to this day.
as i am getting on a bit in years, i know use a buggy to drive around in.
I play a minimum 3 times a fort night weather permitting, at North Ryde Golf Club.
