Sorry to be negative but I’m not a fan of Payten going on till 2012. He is a wise man and knows rugby league inside out, but I doubt that his body will hold up till 2012.

In saying that, if Sheens plans on resting him in some games, inserting new guys like Aaron Woods, BMM etc. then thats fine with me. Payten can be used in big games.

But all in all, I’m waiting for 2012 more than 2011 coz I won’t be able to go to any games this season 😦

He should be alright. He is turning 33 next year.

Hmm I didn’t know we had McKinnon for another 2 seasons. I’m surprised they signed someone that is so injury prone for that long.

Payten has been great for the Wests and I think he will be a Tiger long after his playing days are over! He is a coach in the making and maybe one day he can show us what he has learnt off Shifty and what he can bring to the team! Payten missing out on the Dragons game is why we aren’t the defending premiers! He still has a few more seasons as a player to give yet!

                Nice Bazz….deserves a sticky

Every Club needs a Todd Payten…integeral part of Sheens leadership group being groomed for a role in Coaching…smart for a meathead too…

                  100% -

Todd has been Great for this club and deserves to go out on his terms. I am sure he wont play 1 more game if he knows that he will let anyone down.

                  PS - 32 isn’t 62.

the other one had 2010 transfers so this one is updated up to today and will be updated over the year. the other one may as well get closed a lot of clutter over that one with over 20 pages.

WT signings are all Juniors or prospects. Great to see the club confident with its senior playing ranks.

Unlike the Doggies, the Cows and the Eels who seem to be grabbing anyone they can get their hands on and crossing their fingers.

Early last year i was worried but he had a good year & i agree if he plays against saints we win as he does so much work & it was the little things he does is what we missed. he will make a fine coach one day, a tim sheens mark two.

Just looking at those lists i was wondering who people think will be the improvers and sliders - for me the improvers will be - Canberra, Canterbury, Cronulla , Melbourne, Newcastle, NQ, Souths, Warriors and Tigers - the sliders - Broncos, Gold Coast, Manly, Parra, Penrith, Saints and Roosters ( although i might be a bit hard on them, they are much like us in sticking with current squad )

Newcastle have done well with Beau Henry and Neville Costigan (if Chris Houston doesn’t deal them
disco bikkies.) NQ have also recruited reasonably well
both at the front and back (unfortunately Tate could be out for a large stint,) and Cronulla have recruited well all round, they just need to get the halves to fire which I believe Tim Smith will fire inside of Wade Graham this year.

                                  sharks have bought well.
good hard forward in Jeremy Smith.
he will go well with Paul Gallen.
                                  .
I just hope wests-tigers finish in top 8.
be estatic if they finish 3rd or higher.
as we have seen over the years, too much expectation leads to disappointment.
we know they can do it, its up to them.
would be nice to beat souths this season
