:rant Thursday Morning: Demps logs on and has another slash as to how boring this thread is!
Now that I have that successful prediction out of the way……here’s to the Canberra match on Saturday Night!
As I peer into the Ball…The overwhelming image is that it will be a game of 1st’s!!!
Thursday: As the forwards, OUTS ( Gibbs and Ellis) & Todd reaching 250 dominate the headlines…the Tigers are planning to dismantle the Raiders forwards using a tactic of Tiger days gone by! (To be revealed)
:ugeek: Friday Night: The Ball is showing me this:
0 from 3 & 0 from 3!!! Eels and Broncos to get up I’d imagine!
Saturday: As the Canberra Raiders fans wake up they realise that they have no voice???
:wtf Too much of this…“Ju-Liar-No Carbon Tax” chants on the lawn of the White Collar Criminal House! & Belting out tunes like “Suddenly” by rally host Angry Anderson after the event!
 Saturday Night: The weather is cool but clear and the crowd is rolling in…there is a real buzz in the air about the Tigers performance.
 Raiders fans look like this, as the match heads to the 10 minute mark the Raiders forwards are dominating our smaller pack…and the green Machine get over for the 1st points of the match.
The Tigers seem rattled but they slowly work their way into the match with plenty of metres being made by Tuqiri and Farah.
:righton: In a flash 25-40min the Tigers pile on 3 tries (Tuqiri, Lawrence and Utai) and are in the lead at half time 14 - 6
:rant Sheens talks tactics in the sheds!
We are about to see the “Tigers of old”!
:roll Marshall and McKinnon work a combination through the middle that sees Ayshford getting over and the Tigers fans go ballistic in the stands!
The Raiders seem flat but are “piggy backed down the park” by the maggots in the middle and are mounting a comeback when…Bronson is hit with a head high tackle and someone is placed on report…its not looking good for a Tiger! Weeks will be missed!
The Tigers are now finding their rhythm and are throwing the ball around…Like the Days of old! Moltzen crosses the line and the party begins.
:supporter: Wests dominate the final Quarter of the match and run out 38 - 22 winners!
:ugeek: A game of firsts: 1st Tries to Utai and Moltzen, 1st suspension? 1st Hat-trick of tries for a player!
:master: MOM: Tuqiri (3 tries)
Best on ground: McKinnon, Tuqiri, Marshall, Heighington, Woods
:wtf With the season ‘seemingly’ back on track…the Ball warns of it being an illusion and the dark clouds are rolling over…a crack of thunder…will lightning strike twice against the Roosters?!
Enjoy the Weekend…
