BLAKE AYSHFORD APPRECIATES MEMBERS’ SUPPORT
4/10/2011 4:04:27 PMOutstanding young centre Blake Ayshford has expressed gratitude of thanks to Wests Tigers Members for their support of him and the team in 2011.
Ayshford was presented with the 2011 Wests Tigers Members’ Player of the Year award in front of almost 1200 people at the Wests Tigers Grand Final luncheon at Le Montage Function Centre at Leichhardt on Friday, September 30.
He received his award from Wests Tigers Pinnacle Club Member Garry Bachell and Bill Mallouhi from Mallouhi Property Group, sponsors of the Wests Tigers Lucky Members Row promotion in 2011.
“I was very honoured to receive this award,’’ Ayshford said.
“It is an award I will cherish because it came from our Members – they are the supporters who really commit themselves financially to the club and to us as players. I enjoy events like the Wests Tigers Members Day and Member Only events as it really does connect you with our most passionate fans.
“I encourage any supporter who is not yet a Member to become a proud Member of the Wests Tigers and help us to become a major force in this area.”
Wests Tigers Membership is now available for season 2012. Wests Tigers reached its highest ever Membership base in 2011 with 9500 supporters crossing ‘The Line That Divides’. It is now time to take Wests Tigers Membership to the next level and break the 10,000 barrier in 2012.
Wests Tigers have a Membership option to suit every supporter with a great variety of packages including Gold, Silver and Bronze seating categories and various home match options.
The Membership Team is excited to announce a new package for 2012, introducing the Wests Tigers Pet Membership. Now is your chance to get your entire family onboard as Wests Tigers Members!
The Renewal period is open until November 30, 2011. This will afford all 2011 Members the chance to retain their current seats for next season.

I am very pleased to see Blake get some well-deserved recognition. He turns up every week and shows he has prepared well with his consistent performances. A successful team needs a few of these types of players.

Im a member and I wasn’t sent a voting form…

I didn;t vote but I would’ve voted for him, he gave us a reliable scoring option at a time when half our attack was injured.
Next season it’s gonna be great to see two awesome centres - either side of the field, whether they will receive ball is a different matter though with the Lui saga.
