I do not know whether It was official but in previous years all NRL players not required seem to go to Balmain. I have heard…not officially …that this will be " Official " in 2012. This is just so much crap. Even though I am an old Magpie//I think it is time for 1 team only in this comp.

Its only reserve grade. Balmain and Wests respectively ended 12 years ago.
Its time to let go of this Balmain V Wests shenanigans and unite as WESTS TIGERS.

The rumours about this issue are about as clear as those about the Moltzen on again off again on again transfer. There have been posts that Balmain are broke and may not field a state cup team, also that Wests ashfield might not support the Magpies who may also be broke and without support may not field a state cup team in 2012 either, then there was support for one state cup team called Wests Tigers and Balmain and Magpies play in the bundy cup, who knows?
