Can someone explain to me why this woman has such a huge ego? Besides being married to one of the guys from INXS and having a couple of hits with the Rockmelons in the early '90s, what has she ever done in her entertainment career? She’s always turning up on these terrible shows like 20 to 1 and the atrocious “Essentials” series that Max TV are running and spouting her opinion like it’s the gospel, which often includes a good deal of criticism. Now I see she’s going to be on the Aussie version of “celebrity” Apprentice and from the ads it looks like she’ll maintain her sense of self-importance. She is not half the star that her mother was, yet acts like she is.

Exactly what I have been thinking. I can only think it is because she has grown up with a famous mother and it has given her a huge ego. And we all know when you have a huge ego you tend to find yourself in the media. Just look at Kyle Sandilands, what has he ever done? Yet he does morning radio and has been on shows like Big Brother, Australian Idol and the x factor.

Everytime I see her on tele I have to ask who is that? She is one of the most anonymous ‘stars’ out there. Our version of Paris Hilton maybe?

Most fm radio guys havent done much have they? They work there way in one way or another, most by stand up comedy, but only those with the personality last and Kyle is actually on of the most talented and kind hearted radio guys out there. Btw, cant stand deni hines

Do i listen? you gotta be kidding. There have been times however when i’ve been unfortunate enough to have to suffer through a car trip to school listening to him and his bimbo co-host ( my mum listens to him) and he’s just a total knob who i hate with a passion

I was having this conversation about Deni with friends at a BBQ yesterday. Someone in TV must be beholdent to her for something.

Would anyone realy care about Marcia if it wasn’t for Australian Idol? before that show she was performing at Rooty Hill RSL. Australian Idol did a great job at resurrecting the career’s of two has-beens e.g Marcia Hines and Mark Holden, who without that show, no one would even care about or remember
