Was a MotoGP rider, tragically died yesterday during the race. Just wanted to say my heart goes out to his family & girlfriend. He was a charesmatic young man, he was only 24.

Was a horrific accident. It’s of little comfort or consequence, but he died doing what he loved.

As Casey Stoner said it was sickening.
Terrible to see him sliding along the tarmac without his helmet on.

Shocked to hear this news. He seemed like a very likeable character as evidenced only last weekend here in Australia.
As Jazza said, it was a sickening site to see his body sliding across the track minus his helmet. So young…just a waste.
Just goes to show how dangerous moto GP is and how brave these blokes are to take on all conditions around the world, whilst risking their lives for our entertainment.
Really saddened by this…RIP Marco.

could of been the next superstar in the sport - i’d seen a few interviews with him and he seemed a great guy with a sense of humour. Was flogging his website last week or the week before before a race. Was gonna cut his hair if he won a race. A tragedy and so sad. RIP Marco - thank for the memories in your short but spectacular life.

It was sickening, I still feel sick. Very traumatic to watch live. Marco was one of my favourite characters on the Moto GP circuit, fun loving and full of life, so sad. RIP Marco.
I know motor racing is dangerous and these things happen, but, I can’t imagine how Colin Edwards and Valentino Rossi will get over this any time soon, if at all. With the championship wrapped up already, I’m hoping they cancel the final race of the year, but I doubt this will happen. The show must go on, I suppose.

Yes, it must. But I’d say there’ll be a few who would rather be somewhere else perhaps.
