Anyone catch this doco on ABC tonight?
Really interesting viewing I thought as it contained interviews with all the big wigs, including Barrack, detailed how the CIA firstly found him and then formulated survielance plans to lock down his position, went into detail about how the Navy SEAL team trained and planned their attack and contained real footage of the assault.
It really was an amazing mission that was done under the upmost of secrecy which was also incredible. I loved the footage of Obama playing golf, trying to keep to his normal routine, just hours before it happened.
One thing I wish was included was the story that came out only a month or so later that a blackhawk was shot down in Afganistan that killed most of the heros from that great day.The conspiratist in me said at the time that they are alive and well and it was an orchestrated event to hide their identities forever. Shame that wasnt touched upon but still a good documentary.

I caught the last hour of it, thought the live footage was extroadinary and when that black hawk went down in the compoud I thought the mission was gone. Very interesting viewing, would liked to have seen the whole doco.

Sounds interesting, I hope they replay it…

Was a very well thought out program.
Would play well in any market.
Although I would imagine most Americans will wait for the telemovie to come out with Billy Zane as Seal Team Leader and Bill Cosby as the President

Except the middle east.

Surely Randy Quaid or David Arquette are better candidates?

Actually the parts on his death and following religious practice were aimed directly at the ME market I felt.
Randy Quaid will play Osama, David Arquette will be Directing and Producing with Tom Green running art direction

Stephen and Daniel have far more important things to do… like skateboarding with Jesus and ingesting handfuls of cocaine, respectively.
