Not a bad starting 13 Louie, not sure about Utai on the bench though.
The wing spots will be very interesting if Ryan shows the same form as he had towards the end of this season and Grant handles the transition to league.

From the sounds of it the Tigers have an extended squad of 33 players this off-season. I have come up with 33 who I think will be part of the squad…If anyone spots an obvious omission, please advise:
1. Blake Ayshford
2. Neil Begovich
3. Matt Bell
4. Adam Blair
5. Mitch Brown
6. Dane Chisholm
7. Gareth Ellis
8. Robbie Farah
9. Mosese Fotuaika
10. Liam Fulton
11. Keith Galloway
12. John Grant
13. Matt Groat
14. Chris Heighington
15. Tom Humble
16. Marika Koroibete
17. Chris Lawrence
18. Benji Marshall
19. Sean Meaney
20. Jacob Miller
21. Tim Moltzen

25. Joel Reddy
26. Beau Ryan
27. Tim Simona
28. Curtis Sironen
29. Jack Spencer
30. James Tedesco
31. Lote Tuqiri
32. Matt Utai
33. Aaron Woods -

Not sure whether he has left, but he hasn’t really performed so I don’t think he’d be in the top squad.

Begovich isn’t training with the NRL squad.
Is that confirmed? Or just going off what was said with that Aaron Woods article today?
If confirmed, I wonder what happened?
-
A mum (hot) of a young fellow who works for Neil told me Begovich was not training in the top team over summer.
Seriously how hard is it to tell everyone who is training, who is still with the club and who has left the club.
I really hate this being kept in the dark bullshit. Update the Friggen website ! Players Age Weight Height blah blah blah
Lets all be members and get told nothing….
Ohh thats right we would have nothing to speculate about if they did that.
-
perhaps it is not financially viable for Bergovich to train fulltime, a tier 2 contract is most likely less than he would earn from his construction business??
Might become more prevelent, with the work or study rule coming in, a few youngsters might carve out a decent career by the time they are asked to train fulltime, in many cases the lower end contracts may be less than they can earn in their occupation. It was only just over a decade ago that Steve Merrick knocked back wallaby contracts because it was a pay cut.
-
I would imagine Al Schirnack and Nathan Waters would be in the 33….

That would be weird… I think that if there is one area which we might struggle next year, its with the prop depth. I really thought Begovich would play a part this year.
Aside from the obvious starting 4 of Big Red, Woods, Groat and Bell, we only really have Moors as a prop backup.
To me that says that Sheensy might be thinking of a Gallen type move with Ellis or Blair or is BMM going to put on a bit of size and be shifted?
If Reddy comes into the 2nd row, Ellis or Blair might certainly be looking at the front row. (I’m only mentioning Ellis because of the comment Shifty made at the post match conference last year - Would have never thought he should be moved). But he is a bit like Gallen in stature and has a high work rate.
…mmm… we could be looking at a shifty sheens special this year.

Hammer you want to make BMM bigger He is as big as a house at the moment I think with his size he could play prop now ,but you might lose a lot of his effectiveness and mobility by making him bigger and playing him at prop
