My husband and I were walking around the city of Adelaide on the Monday after the GP in 1994 (which Senna won) and while waiting to cross at the lights we spotted Ayrton Senna and his girlfriend waiting to cross directly opposite us. We couldn’t believe it. We waited till they crossed and politely said hello and asked if they’d mind if we took a photo. They were really nice and happily agreed.
