Whats your favourite leichhardt oval moment ?
Mine is the Amco cup win in the
late 70s when the tigers beat the bears
The Brian lockwood flick pass to bing pringle was just sensational -
when wests-tigers played rabbitohs at end of 2006 season. highlight of the day was when a rabbitohs fan, attempted to do something to score board and was shown the error of his ways, by flying cans.

Wow, so many to choose from!
Two, off the top of my head, would be v Cowgirls, Robbie/Watts scrum punch up, send offs. Go Robbie! And, Chrissy Lawrence running the length of the field to score against the Storm and put the win beyond doubt!
-
Having my wedding photo’s taken on the ground and slotting a goal straight over the black dot in my suit!
or;-Scott Gales chip chase, chip chase TRY!
-Beating Manly 49-18 in 2005
-Beating Parra in the pouring rain before we became the Sydney Tigers and moved to Parra Stadium -
Gary Bridge - the slowest 6 to ever play the game - running half the length of the field and from sideline to sideline to score in the corner against Dogs I think late 80’s.
Benji has had some pretty good moments, the try vs storm in 2010 was pretty special
Remember Blocker setting up two tries in 10mins down the grandstand wing vs Dogs late in 2nd half for a comeback win, Micheal Moss scored one of the tries. Can’t remember which year but late 80’s Wok was the coach and had noticed the winger was dropping back early in the tackle count and Block executed spectacularly.
B B, remember that Gale chip chase, wasn’t there but they reckon one of the best individual tries ever - we lost the game 20-18 vs Dogs I think

Beating Parra in the pouring rain for balmains last game…… And milford winning the fight that same day against???
-
Magpies beating the Roosters 6-5 in '77 Amco Cup Final….we sat in the termite stand
-
Round 22 1989, standing on the steps of the Latchem Robinson Stand with my father, Leichhardt Oval was packed - it was a fiery game and we had a big win!
Other highlights -
WT’s first ever game, a big trial win over Manly.
Round 1 1997, first game back after two years at Parramatta - great performance against red-hot Manly.
1997 - determined, gritty upset major upset over the Bears.Every game at Leichhardt is special - and I’m warming to Campbelltown!!

I’m with you on those 2 Mrs T!
I think Chris burning Slater down the sideline to win the match is certainly the one that sticks in my mind. Amazing moment!

Last Balmain game to beat Parra. Was such a great win I didn’t realize I was freezing my arse off and that I couldn’t feel my toes.

The game against the Roosters mid-this year, was my very first Tigers and Leichhardt game, flew over with my grandfather from Perth to watch it too. Was totally ecstatic when all my favourite players were warming up not 5 metres in front of me and I am proud to say that the mini-standing ovation for Lote brought tears to my eyes.
Such a great game, so glad I was able to share the experience with my grandfather who is also a massive Tigers fan.

Wayne Pearce’s last home game, his last lap was a great moment. My parents dont follow league at all, but Mum knew it was a big deal for me to see Junior play his last game, he was my hero (still my favourite all time player) so she took me to the ground all the way from Penrith to Leichhardt to watch it, will never forget it.
