We have a special Xmas key that hangs on the hook all year that we leave outside Xmas eve for Santa to get in . Santa is going to be buggered this year Work until 11.00 o’clock that night and then he has to put together two bikes , humungus dollhouse (Thanks Mrs Santa) and a mirror .

Anyone else got any special stories they tell the kids about Santa ??

Told them a long time ago that Santa sends alot of his stuff to retail store so he can make a wider variety.

so if kids wanted something from santa which happens to be in a retail store, we let him know which store its in, and somehow it appears under the christmas tree.

        kids are teen agers now.

for the fun of christmas spirit, its now , if you do not believe, you do not receive.
        so the play along.
        or miss out.
        never missed out yet.

He just does. He’s Santa. No explanation does it justice - I’m keeping this level of mystique up unit my son gets wise on the issue.

Santa in the shops works for the real santa.

Mum and dad need to know what santa is getting them - no exceptions - this way we can “double check” that someone else hasn’t already got it for them.

We’ll see how many more years that lasts….

Now now Happy, on the movie thread you were going on about how we had a responsibility to the kids on the forum not to dicuss certain topics that might not suitable for kids, and now here you are basically admitting Santa doesn’t exsist. Hope those same kids don’t read this thread

            sorry mate couldn’t resist 😛

I’ve told mine to not expect too much from Santa this year. With a labour government and Union strikes high on the agenda, Julia isnt happy that Santa uses slave labour…
