Yes and no. First time I saw my now wife I was awe struck by her beauty but, IMO, looks only get you so far in a relationship and for me the more important thing is that Mrs Yoss is my best friend. Sure sounds vomit inducing but thatâs how I see it - connecting at a personal level is the key to a long lasting relationship.

Mine are in their 20âs. When I get the shits with them now that they are older for major things like drinking my beer lol⌠I try and think back to the day they where born and that âlove at first sightââŚstill the same child just a little older makes you more tolerant to the things young adults get up to.

I never thought of the love for my kids in that way, it sounds odd but I know where yous are comin fromâŚ.but I wouldnt say ââIm in love with my kidsâââŚbut the love is unconditional.

hmm this thread has the potential to get a little heavy i reckon. I think everyone is different when it comes to this. Some do, some donât. I remember the first time i saw my ex, she hit me like a ton of bricks. Her eyes just sucked me in, and when i got to know her, we just developed a massive connection

Canât say I have ever experienced it , but maybe because the things I rate important in a partner arenât skin deep
Looks will obviously get their foot in the door but it is everything else that you fall in love with imo
As far as our kids go you love them unconditionally so I wouldnât call it love at first sight
Happy Jr turns 8 on Saturday week and I will never forget seeing him for the 1st time Held him continously for 4 hours waiting for Mummy to get over birth complications and he never cried once
He sure made up for that over the next 12 months

My wife and I now, started off with a mutual dislike for each other, sort of like some lame rom com.
I agree with others and dont put much stock in it to be honest.

when I first met my now wife.
worked with her sister, and being cheeky, and enquired whether she had a boyfriend.
was told in a not so nice manner, " yes, she is taken and why do you ask. she would not be interested in you.
later found out my wife, enquired the same, about me being single, and got a similar reply.
been together since dec, 1993. married in 1995. -
