Thought it was worth mentioning that Heigno is on track to break Skando’s record for most games played for WT. He currently sits on 181, just behind the mayor of Minto who is on 185. Provided injuries aren’t a factor, Chris will become the most capped WT in history in round 5 against the Rabbitohs. Great effort from a guy who could very easily have been lost to the club a couple of times. At the end of 08 when he was only inches away from signing with the Dragons, and last yr when there was strong speculation that he was heading to Penrith. But he’s still with us and should be the first WT player to reach 200 games. Hopefully in 2012.
Well done Heigno, Tiger for life :sign:

Yeah, 10 years up for Heighno, Robbie & Benji.
Liam next year -
I’m just starting to do up a card tribute to our players that have been there for quite a while and first cab off the rank was Robbie but guess who’s next?.
A player well deserving on the accolades, he’s done the hard yards as a promising player in a struggling side almost from the Tigers infancy, had to get an English jumper to show he’s truly a first class payer and despite all the ups and downs he’s still with us, cheers Chris!.
Now can any one out there help me but was Chris’ first appearance on a footy card the Select set from 2008 or did he appear in any of the Telegraph sets prior to this?.
P.S. Need the Robbie Farah Centre Stage from the 2005 Power set to really start the 'Farah Collection. -
Heigno is in the 2003 Rl Cardz set (error card with robert Miles as the Name.
He is in the 2004 7’s Champs set. Both these sets are near impossible to find
He is in the 2005 Prmiers set, and one of the 2007 sets. -
Yeah, 10 years up for Heighno, Robbie & Benji.
Liam next yearFulton has been unlucky in the fact that since he made his debut he’s missed 2 full seasons in the NRL. First when he dislocated his shoulder in round 1 in 06 against the Dragons, and then when he had to go to England in 09. He should be up there with the 3 guyz you mentioned in regards to games played, but he’s about 50 games behind the others

Heighno is a great clubman, it will be a good for him to hold the title for a while.
-
I wonder when he breaks the record if he’ll react the same way he did after the 05 GF

Yeah but probably every 4th or 5th word not every second - he is an elder statesman now.

Love that Rhino, Very proud of him.

Its a shame he ended his career 1 game short of 250 FG games
-
when he plays game no 200, a fitting honour would for him to be captain for that game.

Naaah…

Agreed
They can do anything they want to celebrate, but you don’t hand over the Captaincy. Kind of devalues it a little -
Where would you rank Chris in the top 5 WT’s players of so far?
1. Marshall
2. Skandalis
3. Farah
4. Heighnington
5. Hodgson?
