The more you post the more I think your either JT or a family member of his. Cleary and pressure is something that doesn’t exist. Nofa and tui have both been dropped and they are our highest paid outsde backs. Obviously Ivan sees something in reynnolds and thinks he has to be in our to 17. It’s his first game back, he needs match fitness and once he gets it we will get our money’s worth. You harped on about our attack and look how well it’s going. Must be getting hard for you.

Settle down …… for goodness sake everyone has an opinion on this site worth considering.
As far Reynolds … he will fit in well enough and it’s a long season.
For yesterday he did well for the level of match fitness he had.

Don’t get your knickers in a knot mate, you need to settle down. I was responding to a post that said our squad is unbalanced and that Cleary was under pressure to play Reynolds. Which is my opinion, is that okay?

And my opinion is the squads unbalanced and there’s pressure on the coach to play our highest paid new recruit.

Which also doesn’t mean I don’t want him in the team.

Stating your opinion is fine but there is no need to bring JT into it every single time…. He has nothing to do with this topic and people are getting Jack of it… Play a different tune for once… Move forward for Christ’s sake

When you stop implying people have multiple accounts to back up opinions that differ to yours then I’m happy to bring up JT. Don’t play the moral high ground only when it suits you.

Back on topic we have had a hooker on the bench for every game and we are 5-1. Unbalanced?? I don’t think so. While Reynolds is not match fit, he could play any position in our backline so adds cover there plus plays hooker which makes our squad more balanced. As for pressure to play Reynolds?? From who is this pressure being applied. He didn’t feel pressure to drop Nofa or lolohea , so why would that change wiTh Reynolds.

I’m enjoying seeing Moses cry the most, he will chuck a tantrum at parra soon and want out

I’m happy for Brooks, playing with such confidence and his combo with Marshall is awesome

Can’t wait till our forwards smash woodsy and we beat the bulldogs and make it a trifecta.

To be honest I was a bit shocked yesterday when he came on…he looks nothing like he did at the Dogs…and I thought Tui looked slow
Hes no dummyhalf …the squad really is unbalanced
Cleary is under pressure to play him as our marquee
I just hope he improves and gets match fitness quickly

I must be the only one that was really pleased with his input vs Manly. Defensively, he was a terrier. And let’s not forget, it’s his first game. Having Grub on the bench is ideal given his ability to adequately cover various positions. Loved seeing him out there. Benji has earned the right to the 6 for now, but Josh is always going to be snapping at his heels. Great for the team.

I agree, the energy in defence was highely noticeably. Plus he can play any position so if someone goes down injured he can cover. As he gets match fitness he will only get better. Benji does some good things, but did a lot of bad things yesterday. His bombs were uncAtchable but all his other kicks were terrible. Good headache for Ivan to have.

Wow who would have thought, 6 rounds in and with Brooks and Benji driving the bus we have won as many games as the roosters, bulldogs and eels. They let the world know that the tigers were the problem. That it wasn’t about money. That they wanted to play finals football and they left for greener pastures. Turns out their me attitude was the problem and they were holding us back. Our champion team is on fire and how good does it feel. Thank you team and Ivan.

Selfishly I hope he doesn’t get picked for Origin. I think it is highly unlikely he will but he deserves to be in the conversation.

However there is no one playing better football in the NRL at the moment.

He is dynamite.

I have been a critic over the years but I couldn’t be happier for him.

The Local hero who stayed!!

Yep I was thinking the same thing. Probably the form player in the whole comp. who would have thought those words would ever be spoken about Brooks.

Yeah I can’t believe how much he makes a difference to us. Fantastic player, knows what options to take and just looks like he isn’t even trying. Future superstar.

You’d take Nathan any day of the week for any price he would come for. Brooks + Nathan = premiership.

3 brooks - best game I have seen him play
2 mautilino- one of the best performances by a prop in a west’s tigers jersey
1 Nofa - good to have him back
