Doueihi would have had some of his current year contract already covered by South’s would he not have? Surely that would get taken into consideration by WT for signing him…

Latrell M was paid $117k by the Roosters so far this year for his contract according to reports. That’s a decent amount of the annual sum - could be 20-30%

Good point, Nov, Dec, and part of Jan paid, thats maybe 25%…

Edit: So if he is on $500k, $125 is already paid. $375 would be alright and thats with Souths paying no more.

Then you free up cap space for South’s to go chasing JAC, smart move.

Great track, great guitar and great concert - one of my favs.

It was great to see Dhani playing with the band.

Let’s get real here, the reason we are talking about Iran at the moment is because a man is insecure and jealous of his predecessor, which is why, unlike any president before him, he can’t stop mentioning the man that went before him.

Lets get really real. the reason we are talking about Iran, is they (via proxy militia) attacked and set fire to a US embassy. That doesnt happen & Soliemani is still alive.

Which all goes back to a man wanting to break another’s legacy, by going back an a deal and imposing sanctions.

I have a differing view and obviously disagree with the simplistic scenario you paint. Suffice to say I think the Obama deal was the worst attempt at appeasement since Chamberlain. Delivering $1.8B on pallets isnt the way.

Im not really interested in getting into a debate with you about this though which is no reflection on you and your capacity to express your opinion civilly, it is more that I see issues such as this as like a rorschach test whereby if you dislike Trump you will always see the inkblot one way, those that like Trump, will see another, always. Im in the middle.

All the discussion here has been ‘wether’ Iran are the bad guys or whether Trump/US are the bad guys. It isnt binary. Both can be and are true. Im not interested in this binary discussion.

Wether.

Ah, I actually had wether & whether a few words apart but cbf going back to fix it

It was just for a bit of fun.

Did anyone see the interview on Channel Nine? Mitchell said if he had signed with the Tigers, he probably would have regretted it straight away. We have a poor perception with players at the moment, but I feel that the loyalty shown by players who are here at the moment will pay off in the end. The administration should stick to its commitment to be a proud club who only purchase players who genuinely want to be here.

He would have regretted it because he wants to play with his brothers
Tigers could not do anything about that
South’s are going to turn into the indigenous all stars team

Can we turn into the kiwi club

Or Samoan Tongan or part PNG part Fijian

Bring back Robbie, we had Twal and then sign Doueihi we could be the Lebanese club.

They’ll use Douiehi as utility bench cover. What flummoxed me is how they managed to keep both AJ & DG on their books. They’ve turned their attention to Jai Arrow now.
I’m assuming the contract LM signed has been ratified by the NRL too. Amazing

They would have used Sam’s cash to fund LM.
They will have to move players on next season with Arrow coming.
If they somehow jag Arrow this season i think that they will be screwed cap wise.

Re Doueihi…he would not be on a lot at all with Souths. Probably 200 or less.

And has two years to run.

They would be under no pressure to release him cap wise.

But…the issue will be holding back a player’s career.

He is a FB / half and all those spots are gone. He also could set up his family by joining a team that needs a FB/ half and can pay him much more.

So Souths will have to look at whether they block the kids career path or not now they have no spot for him in the first 13.

What’s to stop Douhei do a Matterson to Souffs…

Sore toe from kicking stones.
