I liked it when the ball boy put a consoling hand on his shoulder after he missed the kick.
Nice work ball boy.

The Cowboys game at LO was the first time I took me son to an NRL game.
The first thing he said after the punch up was, “When’s the next scrum”.

Good old Wests Tigers. Only we can make someone like Takarangi look like champion.
Moses has stepped up since leaving us. Good luck to him. It was the right move for his career.
Moses will be earning double what Brooks earns.

Didn’t we sign Takarangi until the great JT cancelled his contract.

100% support for Justin, i have not and will not ever buy into the NRL’s version of his wrong doing.

He was shafted.

Didn’t he plead guilty?

Only after 2 Board members stabbed Go in the back.

@TigerTiger said in Great article re Roosters Salary Cap:

@OzLuke Gould is not in it for rugby league either. He’s in it for his own interests. He will happily make decisions which are to the detriment of rugby league to suit what he wants. I remember him talking up Thurston big time as a commentator, almost worshipping the ground he walked on, when Penrith had an offer out for JT. He certainly comes with strings attached.

That being said, I would rather his strings then Politis or most others, as at least his rugby league acumen is great, and if he had it working for our team, it would do wonders.

Gould still dances to Politis tune, whatever Nick says Phil agrees with, old buddies from his days at the Rorters.

potential departure of Marsters.
I’ll get 1000 hates for this post, but here goes anyway.
Marsters has been hampered by an ankle injury most of the year, that’s why his performances have been sub par.

Official 3 year deal Matto to eels, might see some movement now
https://www.nrl.com/news/2019/11/07/matterson-returns-to-eels-on-three-year-contract/

Tarnished his name and reputation for a lousy $85K extra per season.
Good riddens grub.

Love Maguire. Great to have a coach who understands how to recruit and build a winning club for a change

Some of the credit for this signing must go to Adam Hartigan, because that how the Roosters stack their club with every other clubs junior talent.

A reliable poster on Sharks’ Forum suggesting Josh Reynolds for 1 year is the word. I see Josh on the Kingsway every now and then so it is close to his home. Good luck to him if this is true.

It was stated on one of the websites that the Sharks would only pay $300K and we would have to foot the rest.
They can get stuffed as far as I’m concerned if we have to carry too much of his contract.

I think the team is dying. There is nothing new under the sun, nothing exciting happening for us, ergo we just keep having to go around the same stuff time and time again.

You hit the nail right on the head.
